Some mornings I just don't want to get out of bed. This morning was one of them.
I had planned on doing my short hill workout again, but didn't sleep worth crap last night; job stress, a ton of work planned for the weekend, etc. So I was up and down from about 3:30 am on. I reset my alarm for 7:00 and tried to close my eyes but ended up just berating myself mentally for an extra 45 minutes before getting up.
And of course now I'm glad I did it. I may have only done half my workout, but I did something.
I also got to see two deer stare at me as I ran up the hill towards the two dogs that had been harassing them. I'm sure they got a kick out of that.
"Dude, that two legged, bald thing isn't afraid of those mean, squatty, ugly things."
"Yeah. It's a total beast, man."
"I guess that's why we're scared of it, too."
"Totally."
